Date Nov 2007
As
of 2007, we operate a waste management partnership with
Harold Prescott & Sons. (Associates of Widnes Skip
& Recycle) We now have our own skips and all waste
is removed to our Ditton Road yard. We pre sort metals
ourselves and separate these. All other materials will
be separated on our behalf, sorted & ultimately
recycled as far as possible.
The cost of implementing a responsible Waste Management
Policy, is not insignificant, the government has, over
recent years levied more and more tax in this sector,
and of course all companies must ultimately pass this
cost on. We show these costs clearly as a separate item
on all our estimates and invoices. This 'transparency'
is your assurance of both legality and environmental
responsibility.
Our company and its staff will operate at all times
showing due regard to global and local environmental
considerations and issues. We will therefore conduct
ourselves in such a manner so as to improve the environment
or ensure that our operation minimises any impact thereon.
